Harlan Scholarship

The Harlan Scholarship is dedicated to supporting students who are striving for academic excellence and community impact while pursuing higher education in the United States. Ideal candidates are curious, community-minded students who demonstrate perseverance, leadership, and a vision for how their education will make a positive difference in the world. This scholarship recognizes your commitment to both learning and service.


Applicants Must:

  • Be enrolled full-time in an accredited U.S. college or university (undergraduate or graduate) with at least one semester completed
  • Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)
  • Submit a 500–700 word personal statement on academic interests, community involvement, and aspirations, plus 1 recommendation letter
  • Demonstrate financial need or explain how the scholarship will help achieve academic and career goals, supported by an unofficial transcript

Scholarship Details:

  • Application Open: January 1st, 2026
  • Application Close: February 1st, 2026
  • Recipients Announced: March 1st, 2026
  • Award Amount : $1,000
