I’m Alex, a Finance Program Manager at Google
Born and raised in Washington with proud Indonesian roots, I moved to Atlanta in 2022 to pursue a career in tech. Along the way, I cultivated a passion for helping others build meaningful, successful careers. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of supporting 1,200+ clients in crafting impactful, results-driven resumes.
My story
After spending 22 years in Washington, I moved to Georgia to start my career in tech
Indonesian roots
My parents are Indonesian—my mom from Bali and my dad from Bandung. They moved to the U.S., where I was born in 1999. Through conversations with family and friends, my Bahasa has improved over the years. Growing up, my parents make countless sacrifices to create a better future for me. They pursued U.S. education while raising me and persevered through periods of unemployment and health challenges. From a humble beginning, they built a stable life through pure determination. Their unwavering effort showed me how challenging life can be and inspired the values of perseverance and ambition that guide me today.
High school & college
In 2014, I began high school where I played on the basketball and golf teams. I also worked at the Auburn Golf Course for 5 years. Through the running start program, I earned my AA and high school degree in 2018. From 2018 to 2022, I earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of Washington. Along the way, I completed four internships, served as a career prep consultant, and contributed as a teaching assistant and director for the Accounting Student Association. At graduation, I was honored as the graduate student speaker and received the Accounting Student of the Year award.
In 2022, I made a bold move from Seattle to Atlanta to begin my career at Google as an Accounting Analyst. Overtime, I built a routine that included forming new friendships, establishing positive habits, starting new things. In November 2024, I was promoted to Finance Program Manager, where I lead end-to-end finance automation projects in partnership with engineering and finance teams. In this role, I deliver accounting solutions that strengthen Google’s financial reporting and drive process efficiency. I also serve as the Career Development & Mentorship lead for Google where I lead career events that help Googlers grow professionally.
Summit Resume
Helping others has always been at the heart of my passion. After joining Google, I started resume writing on Fiverr and steadily built a thriving practice over three years. At the same time, I expanded into keynote speaking, presenting at more than 50 events across the United States. My speaking engagements have included universities and organizations such as Georgia Tech, Google, the University of Washington, Northwestern, and CNN. In June 2025, I launched Summit Resume with the mission of empowering professionals across all levels and industries land their dream roles.

From competing in my first jiu-jitsu tournament to running a half marathon and launching Summit Resume, I’ve learned how to design daily practices that transform ambitious goals into reality.
