Terms of Service

Last updated: June 18, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Summit Resume website and services. Please read them carefully — by using our site or services, you agree to them.

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Summit Resume website at summitresume.com and the services we provide (together, the “Services”). The Services are operated by Summit Resume (“Summit Resume,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing the site, booking a call, purchasing a package, subscribing to our newsletter, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

2. Who we are and what we provide

Summit Resume provides career-related services, which may include resume writing, LinkedIn optimization, interview preparation and coaching, career strategy, group workshops, and keynote speaking. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and price for any paid engagement are confirmed with you at the time of booking.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to purchase services or enter into these Terms. By using the Services you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and your own.

4. Bookings, fees, and payment

Prices for paid services are presented before you purchase. Unless we agree to a written payment plan, payment is due in full before work begins. Payment plans may be available on higher-priced packages as described at the time of booking.

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers, and by submitting payment you authorize us and those providers to charge your chosen payment method for the amounts shown, plus any applicable taxes. We do not store full payment-card numbers ourselves.

5. Refunds and our satisfaction commitment

Each package carries the satisfaction commitment described on its service page. Where a package includes a satisfaction guarantee, or where White Glove coaching includes our commitment to keep working with you toward your goals, those promises apply on the specific terms confirmed with you at booking and depend on your active participation.

Because our work is custom and begins promptly, refund eligibility, revision windows, and any conditions are confirmed in writing when you book, and those booking terms control if they differ from this summary. If you believe something is not right, contact us first and we will work to make it right. You agree not to initiate a payment-card chargeback without first giving us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue.

6. Scheduling, rescheduling, and missed sessions

Calls and coaching sessions are scheduled through our booking tool. If you need to reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice so we can offer the time to someone else. Sessions that are missed without notice, or repeated late cancellations, may be forfeited at our reasonable discretion.

7. Your responsibilities

The quality and timeliness of your deliverables depend in part on you. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and timely information, to participate in good faith, and to respond to requests for input within reasonable timeframes. Delays or inaccurate information on your side may affect timelines and outcomes.

8. No guarantee of employment or results

Our Services are designed to strengthen your job search and professional positioning, but career outcomes depend on many factors outside our control. We do not guarantee, and nothing on the site or in our communications should be read as a guarantee of, any particular result — including interviews, job offers, promotions, salary increases, or employment of any kind.

Any statistics, examples, or testimonials describe past results for specific individuals and are not a promise that you will achieve the same. We make no representation that you will earn any particular amount of money or secure any particular role.

9. Confidentiality of your information

We understand that delivering these Services means you share sensitive personal and career information with us, such as your work history, compensation, and goals. We treat that information as confidential, use it only to provide the Services you have requested, and handle it as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not publish or share your personal details as part of marketing without your permission.

10. Our intellectual property

The website and all of its content — including text, graphics, designs, videos, frameworks, templates, methods, and the “Summit Resume” name, logo, and branding — are owned by Summit Resume or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the materials we provide to you for your own job search.

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, resell, redistribute, or use our proprietary materials or templates for commercial purposes, or to provide competing services, without our prior written permission.

11. Your content and the deliverables we create for you

You retain ownership of the personal information and materials you provide to us. You grant us a limited license to use that information as needed to deliver the Services. The final deliverables we prepare specifically for you — such as your resume, cover letter, or LinkedIn copy — are yours to use for your own career once your engagement is complete and paid.

With your consent, we may use anonymized results, before-and-after examples, or a testimonial that references your experience. We will not identify you in marketing without your permission.

12. Workshops, speaking, and third-party platforms

Some programs are delivered through third-party platforms (for example, live workshop cohorts hosted on Maven), and sessions may be recorded for participants. Your use of those platforms is also governed by their own terms. Speaking engagements are booked separately and may be subject to a separate written agreement; university and student-organization programming may be offered free of charge at our discretion as described on the site.

13. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Services, including by attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the site, infringing anyone’s intellectual-property or privacy rights, or using the Services for any unlawful purpose.

14. Third-party links and services

The site may link to or rely on third-party websites and services (such as scheduling, payment, analytics, and social platforms). We do not control and are not responsible for their content, practices, or availability, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.

15. Disclaimers

The site and the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. You use the site and Services at your own risk.

16. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Summit Resume and its owner, contractors, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Services. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Services giving rise to the claim in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Summit Resume and its owner and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law or third-party right, or the information or content you provide to us.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You agree that any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page, and your continued use of the Services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

20. Contact us

If you have questions about these Terms, please reach out through our contact page and we will be glad to help.
