You can cover the situation, the task, the action and the result, and still not get the offer. Most of us rehearse the words and nothing else, then walk out sure we nailed it and never hear back. The answer was fine. The delivery was what they remembered.
None of this needs you to be an extrovert. It needs awareness and reps. Record yourself answering one behavioural question, watch it once with the sound off, and you will see which of the eight you already do well and which one disappears the moment the question gets hard. That is the one to work on this week.
Whether your STAR answer covered the situation, the task, the action and the result, and whether the numbers held up when they asked. That is the only part most candidates ever rehearse, and it is what gets you onto the shortlist rather than past it.
Steady enthusiasm that holds from the first question to the last, not a burst at the start. Whether you face them and lean in, or drift backwards once the question gets hard. Eye contact on the number that matters. Answer first and context second, so nobody is waiting for your point. Hands that move with the story instead of gripping the desk. A smile that reaches your eyes.

“If you're thinking about working with Alex—do it. He's fast, reliable, and knows exactly how to make your resume stand out. He pulls out the parts of your experience you might overlook and turns them into a story that gets through ATS filters and connects with real people. The final product doesn't just look great-it actually works. Highly recommend!”
